How do we choose what gets featured on this site?
We believe there is value in knowing and understanding a diverse balance of views. At the same time, we recognize an imbalance in the capacity of different parties to communicate their views. Certain interests dominate the public discourse.
 Tension
We hold in tension our desire to present a variety of views and our commitment to provide access to voices that have less access to the means of mass communication.
Our preference is to present thoughtful, considered analysis rather than charged rhetoric, though we also recognize that sometimes angry voices need to be heard as well.
Nearly Impossible
As we attempt this nearly impossible balancing act, we simply hope to contribute to deeper understanding and healthy public discourse.
